The Balanced Life Approach

Many people feel challenged to live a balanced, healthy, happy life.

Their lives are full of many factors, some big and some small that all take a certain amount of energy, and time. Each person has their own capacity for what they can hold in their lives, and often struggle to know how much energy and effort to invest in various relationships, tasks and long and short term projects. Overwhelm or stagnancy are by products of a culture that values spreading yourself too thin, prioritizing work or gains over having time to recover and integrate. Trying to find a good balance of in-put and out-put when you don’t know where your own values lie gets you caught up in whatever the dominant cultural narrative is, or over-giving in relationships, and people lose sight of what they want out of life.

My balanced life approach first identifies where in your life you are putting energy, resources and time, then we set some goals and make a plan for where you want to be. Then we identify some behavioral changes and come up with a timeline to help implement and maintain change.

A combination of individual coaching, self-study, group workshops when available, and lots of individual life practice helps you create the momentum you need to work towards creating a life with more balance, more hope and greater access to personal resources.

Who is it for?

Anyone going through a life transition who needs a little extra guidance, people struggling with overwhelm and exhaustion, people who feel “stuck” in behavioral patterns that they can’t shift out of.
